Dave & Hayley Berry

FYP Youth Charity was founded in 2014 by a life calling vocation of married couple Dave & Hayley. Both are professionally qualified youth workers at degree level and have 55 combined years of youth work experience. Their love for young people is the very foundation of all they do, with a genuine desire to positively impact individual lives through providing consistent provision and appropriate support. Both Dave & Hayley are christians and that life commitment is the very essence of all they do and provide within communities. 

Provisions

FYP Youth Charity provide a wide variety of provisions. Experienced teams work within the towns of Hawkinge and Folkestone each week during term time. 
FYP provide facilities for young people to access a variety of activities, training for young leaders, one-to-one mentoring & a consultation service for other providers.
All provisions are hosted by a skilled and dedicated team of youth workers providing outstanding quality care and activities for all young people. All youth and young adult provisions are fully accessible for individuals despite culture, religion, sexuality or disability. Environments are safe, fun, vibrant and a raw opportunity to engage with peers, access support and gain a real sense of belonging. FYP are proud and privileged to work at grass root level with 100's of young people each week, with a genuine focus of investing in the lives of young people.

Training

Dave & Hayley have created a training course to equip young youth workers in their development of skills, knowledge & enhance working practices. The opportunity to understand the psychological & sociological theoretical perspectives of youth work, the importance of fluidity, support to provide impact sessions, how to identify specific needs & how to effectively execute targeted intervention or provide a suitable running program.

The charity are also a centre for work experience for young people 16-25 years.
