Hayley - Co-ordinator

Hayley is a vibrant dedicated children and youth worker, with a real heart to nurture and encourage all young people. Hayley’s journey into youth work began at the age of 15, when peer mentoring became part of her role at the youth club she attended, since then Hayley has become increasingly passionate about investing in the lives of young people, with a real down to earth approach and acceptance.

Hayley is an experienced worker with a particular creative flare in producing fun and energetic clubs, with a keen eye in interior design. Hayley extends her creative ability to transforming areas, rooms and buildings to become more functional, inviting spaces with a contemporary flow, catering for the needs of the users.

Hayley has a vat experience in mentoring young people, having been a foster carer and part of the post adoption team for over 10 hears, she’s had the opportunity to understand systems in place to protect the most vulnerable and support young people, dealing with complex issues that can be involved with looked after children and their both family/history, having had the privilege working alongside young people that have been through and continue to be part of the care system.


Hayley has acquired many years of working with socio-economic deprived communities, to which she enjoys working with individual and families that are in need of that extra help, specially working alongside those with emotional difficulties and behaviours that are challenging. Hayley has the confidence to work alone, head up teams and is very much a team player, embracing and valuing teams.

Poverty & human trafficking are areas in which Hayley particularly feels strongly about and she has the desire to bring children out of these situations, she feels both can be eradicated, so using love, care, education and provision to assist with the progression of these two coming to an end Hayley uses working practices to bring the issues to the forefront wherever possible.


Hayley embraces all young people equally, supporting and journeying with them. Hayley spent a significant number of years developing inner city work in the UK.

Hayley has a finance background having worked for one of the UK’s largest banks, having this experience and knowledge enables the charity a greater understanding of value in providing services and equipment in youth settings.Hayley spent 8 hears working in the coastal town of Folkestone, which continues to host large pockets of deprivation, in which she helped lead teams in providing a wide range of youth facilities.

With over 22 years of experience and a professional children & youth work degree, Hayley wants o continue to use her unique ability and gift set as a community youth worker to enable and empower young people in their communities, t engage and invest in their areas, transform and improve community connections, by building on existing and creating new long-term provisions.

Hayley has previously work on the council’s Youth Offending Team and is a trained facilitator in restorative justice.

Hayley’s skills extend to supporting parents and families through providing parenting courses as a licensed facilitator for a charity, courses that help, support and provide encouragement, equipping parents with the tools they need to strengthen and build on the family unit as a whole, because family matters and is the foundation for young people’s development, security and well being, they need a sense of belonging.


Hayley aims to empower young people not only to take ownership of their own futures, but to invest in the development of their own communities.

Hayley holds experience and confidence in creating and managing lively youth settings, her heart vocation is a significant part of her faith as a Christian.

Hayley loves to see young people thrive, she is highly experienced and qualified in providing a wealth of youth provisions, supporting others in the youth sector, delivering development training, support existing youth workers and journeying with those starting out.
